Our Role in Your Insurance Restoration Project:

We serve as your trusted technical expert through the claim, providing the precise measurements, property evaluations, and detailed scope documentation required to restore your home to pre storm condition.

Here is how we guide you through every step of the process:

1. Pre-Claim Storm Damage Inspection

Before you contact your insurance company, we conduct a comprehensive ground to roof inspection of your property. We examine your shingles, siding, gutters, soft metals, and ventilation for hail impacts or wind damage. This initial evaluation ensures you have sufficient damage to warrant opening a claim, saving you from filing unnecessarily.

2. On Site Adjuster Representation

When your insurance company schedules an adjuster to inspect your property, we meet them on site. We walk the roof and exterior with the adjuster to point out every documented area of impact, ensuring missing shingles, compromised underlayment, damaged metal trim, vents and siding are all observed and recorded in their report.

3. Itemized Estimate & Scope Review

Once the insurance company issues their initial Summary of Loss, we review it line by line alongside our itemized cost estimate. We verify that all required materials, labor, and local Minnesota building code upgrades (such as ice and water shield requirements, drip edge, and ridge ventilation) are fully accounted for, keeping your out of pocket costs strictly limited to that required by your policy.

4. Supplementing Missing Claim Items

Insurance estimates frequently miss specific scope details or local city code requirements. If the adjuster’s initial payout report leaves out essential materials or labor, we compile photographic proof, manufacturer installation specs, and local building code references to submit a technical supplement back to the carrier for approval.

5. Permits, Build & Claim Closure

We pull necessary city permits, schedule inspections and complete all repairs according to the Insurance Scope of Damages estimate. Once the job is finished, we perform a final quality walk through and submit final completion documentation and invoices to your insurer so they can promptly release your withheld depreciation funds.

Insurance Restoration Expertise

Insurance restoration isn't just about replacing a roof it's about understanding storm damage, accurately documenting the loss, and ensuring the scope of repairs reflects what your home requires.

With more than five years dedicated almost exclusively to insurance restoration, I've personally inspected hundreds of storm damaged properties, managed more than 150 completed insurance restoration projects, and worked alongside countless insurance adjusters throughout the claims process. That experience has given me a thorough understanding of storm damage identification, claim documentation, building code requirements, and insurance estimating practices.

Not every legitimate claim is approved on the first inspection. When appropriate, I can provide additional documentation, photographs, measurements, and technical support that may justify requesting a reinspection. While no contractor can guarantee a claim approval or reversal of an insurance decision, additional evidence and a thorough second evaluation can sometimes result in previously overlooked storm damage being recognized by the insurance carrier.

From the initial inspection to completion you'll receive honest recommendations, experienced guidance and clear communication throughout the restoration process.
