Colton Saugestad

 

I founded Colts Home Services & Roofing LLC on a simple principle: homeowners deserve direct, honest communication paired with real technical expertise.

After earning my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota in 2019 and completing hands on residential remodeling work and engineering internships, I chose to bring that technical precision directly into the exterior construction industry rather than spending my career cooped up in an office. Over the past 7+ years, I have built hands on experience across every stage of the industry, from remodeling and estimating to exterior sales and full project management. Over the past five years, I've specialized in insurance restoration, personally inspecting hundreds of storm damaged properties and managing more than 150 completed insurance restoration projects. Working alongside insurance adjusters throughout the claims process has given me extensive experience identifying storm damage, documenting losses and interpreting insurance estimates. What I enjoy most about this work is being out on job sites every day, working outdoors, and connecting directly with local homeowners.

I value my customers and strive to go above and beyond on every project, whether that means walking you through a targeted repair or managing a complete roof replacement. Operating as an owner operated business means I am involved in every project from start to finish, bringing years of field experience to ensure the entire process is as smooth as possible.

When I am not on a job site, you will find me enjoying the outdoors, fishing, or spending quality time with friends and family.
